Shri B.S Baswan
IAS (Retd.) Chair

Shri Baswan joined Indian Administrative Service in 1967 as an Officer of the Madhya Pradesh Cadre. He was educated at the Doon School, Dehradun; St. Stephen's College, Delhi; Elphinstone College, Bombay; Victoria University, Manchester (UK); and Banff School of Advanced Management, Canada. During his career, he has held many important positions such as, Director, Indian Institute of Public Administration, Secretary, Department of Secondary and Higher Education, MHRD, Govt. of India as well as the Director, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie. He has served as Commissioner, Higher Education, Government of M.P., Director, Institute of Secretariat Training and Management, Government of India; Joint Secretary(Training), Ministry of Personnel, Government of India, DFID/World Bank Consultant for Forest Policy – 1999; Secretary, National Commission for Minorities, Government of India; Chairman, National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (Ministry of Chemicals and Petrochemicals), Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, Secretary, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India. Post retirement, he also served as Fellow, Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, Senior Consultant, Planning Commission, Government of India. After retirement, Shri Baswan has been in the Results Framework Document team for the Cabinet Secretariat, Member/Chair of some official committees, Chairman, Lawrence School Lovedale and the Delhi Public Library, a Member of the Board of Governors/ Management Committees of some universities and schools, took assignment with UNDP at Kabul to train Afghan civil servants in 2010 and Consultant WMF (MP Project).

Shri Umesh kumar
Joint Secretary (Judges Enquiry Committee)

Shri Umesh Kumar is currently serving as Joint Secretary, Judges Enquiry Committee. He previously was the Director, Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM). He has worked in various capacities in Government of India in department of Company Affairs, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation. He holds degree in BA, LLB and MA(History).His areas of specialization are Public Administration & Administrative Reforms, Corporate Laws / Economic Affairs, Vigilance and Culture.

Shri Tejvir Singh
Joint Director, LBSNAA

Shri Tejvir Singh Born on 27th November 1970, was educated at Yadavindra Public School, Chandigarh and later at St. Stephen's College, Delhi where he completed his Bachelors and Masters in History. Was originally allocated Maharashtra Cadre where he served as Sub Divisional Magistrate in Malegaon (Nasik) from 1996 to 1998 before being transferred to Punjab Cadre. Among the significant charges held in Punjab are Joint Secretary (Finance), Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and Deputy Commissioner of Patiala, Amritsar and SAS Nagar (Mohali) districts. He also served as Chief Administrator, Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA); Director, Information and Public Relations; Special Secretary, Planning and Commissioner, NRI Affairs. Enjoys reading on military matters, landscaping, playing squash, music and the arts. Areas of interest in Government are public finance and planning, health, agriculture, tourism and heritage conservation. Has occasionally contributed some humorous middles to local papers in Chandigarh and to the Academy Newsletter. Joined the Academy in March 2009 and served as Deputy Director (Senior) till July 2013 before being promoted as Joint Director. He was awarded a Master of Science (with Distinction) in Public Management and Governance from the London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom while on an academic sabbatical in 2012-13.

Dr Pritam Singh
CEO, LEAD Centre

Dr.Pritam Singh has spent his entire life tirelessly doing what he does best: awakening students, academia, corporate heads and policy makers to raise their excellence to the next level. As the chairman and member of several policymaking committees and bodies of Government of India, he has stamped his perspective on policy issues that surround both management education and corporate management in India. He sits currently on the Board of 10 reputed private and public sector organizations helping them initiate the change process and charter a winning corporate strategy. As a consultant, Dr Pritam Singh has done work with more than 200 CEOs in India and abroad and conducted more than 100 retreats for the top management of both private and public sector organizations as well as Multi-national Corporations. With his entrepreneurial vision and path breaking innovative methods, Dr.Pritam Singh turnaround the fortunes of both MDI (where he was director 1994-1998 & 2003-2006) and IIM Lucknow (1998-2003). He also made significant contributions in reorienting the foci of Administrative Staff College of India and Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) where he worked as Dean and Senior Professor. He was last with International Management Institute (IMI) as Director General and Professor.

Dr CP Shrimali
Director, MDI, Gurgaon

Prof. Shrimali holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Ph.D. from the University of Udaipur. He has a singular combination of entrepreneurial experience and teaching and consulting proficiency. He holds a diploma in Labour Laws from Delhi and Management Consulting Course from University of Philippines¸ Manila. His areas of expertise include Compensation management & Incentive Systems, Performance Appraisal and Performance Management, Human Resources Planning, Training & Development, Change Management and Management Consulting. He has travelled extensively within and outside India for presenting papers in national and international Conferences, conducting sessions and programmes. He has also visited academic institutions and industrial organizations in U.S.A., Italy, Belgium, Austria, Netherlands, Germany, France and Canada. He has been serving as a member of the Advisory Board at nine academic institutes /universities. He has also been on the board of directors of IMPCL – a central public sector enterprise.
